Srinagar, Novv 21 (KNS): Chairman Shahbad Development Forum Zahoor Malik called on Union Minister for Jal Shakti Gajender Singh Shekhawat on Tuesday. "This was a breakfast meeting with Minister of Jal Shakti Government of India during which we discussed some basic issues related to water in our Constituency," Zahoor Mallik said. The meeting had a threadbare discussion with the Hon'ble Minister regarding Regional Water cum Irrigation Supply Scheme for Dooru Shahabad respectively from Sarbal Dedibal. This Regional Water cum Irrigation Supply will not only cater the Water Supply facilities but will also end the drinking water crises on account of Irrigation facilities of the area based on the principle of providing long term sustainable solutions and avoiding cosmetic approach and redressal to the grievances of people. People of Dooru Shahbad lauded the efforts of Zahoor Mallik for taking up issues related to drinking water very seriously.(KNS)
