Srinagar July 1(KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee today expressed profound grief over the passing away of veteran Trade Union Leader Sampat Prakash.
Senior Congress Leaders in a statement have condoled the passing away of Sampat Prakash and hailed the great contributions and services rendered by him to people of Jammu and Kashmir. The leaders termed the loss of Prakash irreparable, which cannot be replaced by anything.
The deceased Trade Union Leader was known for his vision and boldness. He always believed in uniting people, strengthening diversity and harmony and always raised his voice against discrimination against people in general and employees in particular.
J&K has lost a great stalwart in the passing away of Sampat Prakash, the leaders added and said the departed leader will always be remembered for his seriousness and his concern about progress and wellbeing of the people.
Congress leaders shared the grief and expressed heartfelt condolences to family, friends and followers of Prakash. They also prayed for his eternal peace.
