Handwara November 20 (KNS) To review the police functioning in the Police district Handwara SSP Handwara Dawood Ayoob-JKPS today chaired a crime/security review meeting at the conference Hall of DPO Handwara.
During the meeting, the status of Case FIRs registered in 2023 backlog cases and their disposal, especially UAP (A), Narcotics cases were reviewed SSP Handwara also reviewed the progress of actions taken against terrorist-secessionist networks operating in the jurisdiction of district Handwara.
The meeting was attended by DYSP DAR DPL Handwara,SDPO Handwara*DYSP PC Kralgund*DYSP Prob SHOs / IC PPs and other officers of PD Handwara. The overall security scenario of the district was also discussed with the officers
Addressing the officers, SSP Handwara, said that the jurisdictional supervisory officers must take all the measures to improve investigation and disposal of cases by personally monitoring the cases. He stressed upon the officers to speed up the disposal of all pending cases especially UA(P) Act/ NDPS Act cases and directed that the quality of investigation and disposal of these cases needs improvement and stressed upon them to adopt the latest techniques and standard operating practices which would bring improvement in investigation.(KNS)
