Srinagar, Nov 20 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir government is mulling to announce early winter vacation for primary schools in the Kashmir Valley, officials said on Monday.
Principal Secretary School Education Alok Kumar told KNS that winter vacation is being considered for lower primary classes in the Valley in view of the cold weather conditions.
The Kashmir Valley is witnessing substantial dip in temperature for the past few weeks, with parents appealing authorities to announce early winter vacation.
Earlier, in the day Private Schools Association, Kashmir Trade Body and several other organisations appealed authorities to announce the winter vacation in view of cold weather conditions. (KNS)
