PDP, NC deceived Kashmiris, killed & blinded innocents : DPAP

Srinagar May 08 (KNS): In a scathing attack, DPAP slams NC and PDP for neglecting substantive issues and instead exploiting Kashmiris for personal gain. DPAP leaders, including Vice Chairman G.M. Saroori, Chief Spokesperson Salman Nizami, Lok Sabha Candidate Amir Bhatt, and others, visited Budgam areas to campaign for DPAP, candidate Amir Bhatt. While addressing the public, Saroori questioned the legacy of NC and PDP in Kashmir, highlighting their lack of substantial contributions to the region. He pointed out that during Ghulam Nabi Azad tenure as Chief Minister, development in terms of infrastructure, education, and healthcare was tangible. He challenged NC and PDP leaders to showcase their developmental achievements instead of relying solely on promises of autonomy and self-rule. Furthermore, he warned against NC and PDP's potential alliances with BJP, suggesting that such collaborations could jeopardize the interests of Kashmiris, leading to the sale of votes. Meanwhile Amir Bhatt also reminded the collaboration between NC, PDP, and BJP, expressing concerns over a potential recurrence of such alliances. He questioned their silence on pressing Kashmiri issues, such as the high electricity fees. He pledged to address these concerns in Parliament, emphasizing DPAP's commitment to advocating for the real issues affecting Kashmiris. Salman Nizami criticized Farooq Abdullah's calls for sacrifice, questioning what sacrifices he and his family have made for Kashmiris. He pointed out that Abdullah's son and grandchildren have studied abroad, enjoying privileges while many Kashmiri youth face challenges like militancy and drug abuse. he further said, 'Farooq Abdullah should start from home. He sent his children and grandchildren abroad for a good life and education, while our common Kashmiris are forced into violence, stones, and even drugs. These parties have exploited Kashmiris for their vote bank. I urge people to vote for young leader Amir Bhatt, who will not exploit them and will ensure justice.(KNS)
