Srinagar, Mar 03 (KNS): Hurriyat (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani Friday expressed deep grief over the sad demise of mother of prominent columnist and writer Dr Javed Iqbal and extended heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.
Geelani in a statement issued to KNS expressed his sympathy and prayed for heavenly abode for the deceased and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Altaf Ahmad Shah and Ayaz Akbar also expressed their sympathy with Dr Javed Iqbal and Peer Saif Ullah Mohammad Yusuf Mujahid, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder ,Omer Adil Dar participated in funeral prayers. (KNS)
