Kulgam, Aug 04(KNS): An encounter has been been broke out between militants and security forces at high reaches of Halan forest area of Kulgam district in southern Kashmir.


The Kashmir police zone in a tweet said that "Encounter has started at high reaches of Halan forest area of Kulgam district".

It also said that the Army & Kulgam Police are on the job. "Further details shall follow," it added.(KNS).
