J&K Govt Terminates DAK President among 4 employees for Anti-National Activities

 Srinagar, Nov 22(KNS): The Jammu & Kashmir administration has terminated four employees of their duties, citing their alleged involvement in anti-national and terror-related activities.

Among those terminated are the president of the Doctors Association of Kashmir (DAK), a doctor, a police constable, and a teacher/lab bearer in the higher education department.

Nissar-ul-Hassan, Salam Rather, Abdul Majeed Bhat, and Farooq Ahmad Mir have been dismissed by the UT administration under the provisions of Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India, allowing for termination without a formal inquiry.

This action is part of the UT administration's ongoing efforts to dismantle the alleged terrorist ecosystem and eliminate key stakeholders who had been incorporated into the government machinery by previous political regimes.(KNS).
