New Delhi, Apr 18 (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department participated in a two-day Tourism Expo at Jamia Millia Islamia here to showcase the Union Territory's vast tourism potential, officials said on Saturday.

 

The event, held on April 16 and 17, featured ‘Konposh’ – a J&K culture and tourism fest – in place of a traditional expo stall. The department displayed a wide range of promotional material, including brochures, calendars, and scenic visuals highlighting the region’s natural beauty and cultural richness.

Officials present at the stall engaged with attendees, providing detailed insights into various tourist circuits, adventure opportunities, and hospitality offerings. The exhibition served as an effective platform to promote J&K as a premier travel destination, they added.
