Srinagar, Dec 17 (KNS): Mother of Kashmir Observer editor, Sajjad Haider, Shahid Ansari, and Hamid Ansari, passed away in Srinagar on Sunday, family members said here.
The funeral prayers as per the family took place at Imambargah Gulshan-e-Ali Shalimar, and she was laid to rest at Baba Mazar in Zadibal. The deceased, widow of late Maulana Mustafa Hussain Ansari and daughter of late Aga Syed Muhammad Jalali, was mourned by numerous people, including socio-political and religious organizations.
The congregational Fateh will be held at Baba Mazar on Wednesday at 8 am, followed by a day-long condolence at Ansari House and Imambargah Gulshan-e-Ali Shalimaar. Meanwhile, the editor in chief of Kashmir News Service(KNS), Mohammad Aslam Bhat, expressed deep condolences and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.(KNS)
