Mirwaiz condoles demise of AAC member Muhammad Yousuf Khan, pays tributes


Srinagar Oct 05 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed deep grief over the demise of Muhammad Yousuf Khan, a long-time member of the organisation, a well-wisher of the Mirwaz family and the president of AAC's Nawab Bazar Area

In his condolence statement, the AAC Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq termed the services and sacrifices of the late Muhammad Yousuf Khan towards the organization as unforgettable.

The deceased had dedicated his services and abilities to the organisation for more than fifty years and during this long period, Mohd Yusuf played a key role in making the Awami Action Committee an active and prominent organisation alongside his martyred leader Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq.

He said that the void created in the ranks of the organisation by the demise of Muhammad Yousuf Khan can hardly be filled. His valuable services and sacrifices towards the organisation will always be remembered, he added.

Mirwaiz expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased on this tragedy and prayed for the patience of the bereaved family members.

According to the statement, scores of members of the Awami Action Committee and a large number of people participated in the funeral prayer of the deceased. Later, the delegation of the organisation visited the late Khan Sahib's house and paid tribute to him for his long service.(KNS)
