Srinagar, Oct 31 (KNS): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq today visited the residence of his close confidant Muhammad Maqbool Shah, affectionaltey called Magga Chacha, who passed away on Sunday.
The deceased was also a close associate of Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq.
Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir on the occasion expressed condolence with the bereaved family members and termed the demise of Magga Chacha as his personal loss. He also prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid organised a condolence meeting during which prayers were held for the departed soul. The participants paid tributes to Muhammad Maqbool Shah for his selfless services to the Auqaf and hailed his sacrifices.
The participants of the meeting described Muhammad Maqbool Shah as a loyal, amiable and sincere worker and said that Magga Chacha will be remembered for dedicating his entire life to the cause of the Mirwaiz family.
In the meeting, prayers and Fateha were held for the deceased and his demise was described as a void that will be filled with difficulty.
The participants expressed condolence with the bereaved family members of Muhammad Maqbool Shah.(KNS)
