Srinagar, 14 Nov(KNS) On the earnest request of the Nigeen Tourist Traders Association (NTTA), Mission Director Jal Jeevan Mission Dr. G N Itoo and Executive Engineer Water Works Bashir Ahmad Rather, accompanied by their team, visited West Nigeen Cherry Park today to address prevailing water-related challenges faced by local households and houseboats, crucial for the tourism sector.

Recognizing the significance of the area as a tourist hub, concerns regarding potable water availability had been raised. Chairman Manzoor Wangnoo expressed his gratitude to the officers for promptly responding to the association's request and undertaking a comprehensive tour of the area.

During the visit, Dr. G N Itoo engaged in productive discussions with houseboat owners and local inhabitants, attentively listening to their concerns and assuring them of all possible assistance.
