Srinagar November 02 (KNS): Police have arrested 02 terrorist associates linked with proscribed terror outfit Al-Badr from Shalteng area of Srinagar.
During late night checking at a security checkpoint along Shalteng Bridge by the joint parties of PS Parimpora and PC Mujgund, 02 terrorist associates linked with proscribed terror outfit Al-Badr were arrested. They have been identified as Yawar Rashid son of Abdul Rashid Dar and Basit Nabi son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat resident of SaderBala, Bandipora.
During search, incriminating materials, arms & ammunition including 01 Pistol, 02 Pistol Magazines, 28 Pistol rounds and 01 Hand Grenade was recovered from their possession.
Regarding the incident, a case vide FIR No. 159/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Parimpora and investigation has been initiated.(KNS)
