Srinagar  Dec 24 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party General Secretary and In Charge Constituency Khanyar constituency Ali Muhammad Sagar presided over a meeting of delegates and office bearers of Khanyar constituency at party headquarters Nawa-e-Subah, Srinagar. 

Current political scenarios and issues of public importance were on the agenda of the meeting. Provincial President Youth National Conference Salman Ali Sagar, Block presidents Haji Bashir Ahmed Wani, Bashir Ahmad Mir, Women’s Wing functionaries Hashi Rukhsana, Haseena Ji, former deputy mayor Parvaiz Qadri and Block Coordinator Khanyar/Youth leader Abid Wani also addressed the gathering.

On the occasion a resolution was unanimously passed by the party functionaries condemning the killings of five Jawans in Poonch by militants and the subsequent killing of three civilians in the aftermath of the attack. They demanded an immediate time bound and impartial investigation into the killings of civilians.(KNS)
