Society must rise together to reject terrorism: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha

Kulgam, Aug 07 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Monday urged people of Jammu and Kashmir to rise together to reject all forms of terrorism. He said time is not far when entire terror ecosystem will crumble in J&K.

"The UT government has taken strict measures to eliminate terrorism in the region. We have succeeded in this endeavor widely and further is required to root out this menace. Today terrorism and separatism in J&K is on death bed. I urge society to raise their voice unanimously against terrorism due to which J&K has suffered a lot in past," Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha as per KNS said while speaking to reporters at Mini Secretariat Kulgam where he inagurated Veshaw Literary Festival.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said J&K at present is better than other States of the country in terms of development and infrastructure building. Without naming anybody, the Lieutenant Governor said that those whose hands are drenched with the blood of innocents can no more befool people. “Enough blood of innocents has flown in J&K,” he said.

Speaking on recently rolled out PMAY scheme, the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said in Kulgam district, 29 people were provided land under Prime Ministers Awas Yojna (PMAY) and not a single person is non-J&K resident. “Not a single resident has been given land or home under PMAY as claimed by some politicians.
