China, Cong on same pedestal over Bharat title proposal

JAMMU September 7:(KNS)Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday condemned those entities trying to demean Sanatan Dharma through a set agenda by using propaganda as their tool.

Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of an impressive Shobha Yatra taken out to mark Hindu festival Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the BJP stalwart leader said that certain elements across the country have been raising voices against Sanatan Dharma under a well knit controversy to weaken the Hindu Society. He said that the dream of anti-Hindu forces will never become a reality because Sanatan Dharma has strong spiritual and social basis which cannot be weakened come what may. 

Kavinder appealed to the people that they should not be influenced by forces which are trying to dent the interests of Hindu society because Sanatan Jagat is strong enough and such conspiracies couldn’t even touch the strong basis of this oldest religion sustaining in the world since the times immemorial.

Responding to a media query over Congress stance on Bharat title proposal, he said that there is no surprise in knowing that both China and Congress are on the same pedestal in this case. He said that the response of Congress over the issue is ditto to the Chinese uttering, making it clear for the countrymen to decide which way to go in the coming times. 

It is pertinent to mention that China has asked India to prioritize economic reform over name dispute ahead of G20 Summit, a stand which is on the lines of what Congress is batting for.(KNS)
