Young Kashmiri Football Talent Beig Fardeen Shamim Qualifies for Sub Junior National Football Championship

 Srinagar, Sep 24(KNS): In a remarkable achievement, Beig Fardeen Shamim, a student of Army School Badami Bagh in Srinagar, has secured his spot in the Sub Junior National Football Championship 2023-24. Fardeen's journey to this prestigious tournament began with trials held at the Synthetic Turf TRC in Srinagar, where over 2000 under-14 boys from Jammu and Kashmir showcased their skills.

Beig Fardeen's dedication and talent shone through as he successfully navigated all the trials, earning his place to represent Jammu and Kashmir in the forthcoming championship. The Sub Junior National Football Championship is scheduled to take place on September 27, 2023, in Andhra Pradesh.

This remarkable achievement has not only brought joy and pride to young Fardeen but also to his father, Beig Shamim Ahmed, a senior Accredited Journalist. Mr. Shamim Ahmed, originally a resident of Anantnag and currently residing in Srinagar, expressed his elation at his son's achievement.
Fardeen's journey to success was supported by the Incharge of Army School, Principal Mr. Rajeev Chowdhary, and his dedicated teacher, Mr. Vijay Kumar. The Chinar corps and JKFA Chief Coordinator Waseem Gul also played a pivotal role in nurturing Fardeen's talent and providing him with opportunities.

Fardeen Shamim is a player of the SCFA (Srinagar City Football Academy) and has already made his mark on the national football scene. Under the age of 12, he participated in the Seven-a-side National Football Tournament in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi, where he achieved numerous awards, certificates, and medals, showcasing his exceptional skills.

Fardeen's commitment to the sport is further evident in his participation in National trials at leading football institutions like Baichung Bhutia Football School and Sudheva FC in New Delhi. His journey serves as an inspiration to young football enthusiasts in Jammu and Kashmir and highlights the immense potential of budding talent in the region.(KNS).
