New Delhi, June 01 (KNS): The Opposition INDIA bloc Saturday held a crucial strategy meeting at the residence of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge days ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha poll results.
Top leaders of the parties, who are part of the INDIA bloc gathered at Kharge's home in Delhi to chalk out strategy and assess their performance in the Lok Sabha polls.
The marathon 7-phase Lok Sabha polls polls draws to a close after 7th and final phase today with PM Modi led NDA eyeing a historic third straight term.
Leaders who attended the INDIA bloc meet include, Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Priyanka Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Prof Ram Gopal Yadav, Sharad Pawar NCP, Jitendra Awhad, Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann, Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha, TR Baalu, Tejashwi Yadav, Sanjay Yadav, Champai Soren, Kalpana Soren, Farooq Abdullah, D Raja, Sitaram Yechury, Anil Desai, Dipankar Bhattacharya and Mukesh Sahani
Meanwhile, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, in a post on X, said that the fight is still not over and the leaders and workers of all the parties are extremely alert.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that the leaders of INDIA parties are informally meeting today to take stock of the preparations leading up to the counting day.
"I thank each one of them for their esteemed presence. We have fought the Lok Sabha elections with all our might and are confident of a positive outcome, as the people of India have supported us," he said.
Exit polls for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls will be broadcast live 30 minutes after final phase voting ends at 6 pm today. The counting of votes will be done on June 4. (KNS)
