"Pure Poison": Mehbooba Mufti on BJP's Jharkhand Election Campaign

Srinagar, Nov 18(KNS): Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Mehbooba Mufti has criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over its advertisement campaign for the Jharkhand assembly elections.

In a post on social media, Mufti referred to the campaign as being in conflict with the principles of secularism and pluralism that guided Jammu and Kashmir’s decision to join India. She stated that the state, despite its Muslim-majority population, had opted to be part of a secular and democratic nation where all religions could coexist.

Mufti claimed that the advertisement contradicted these ideals and questioned its alignment with the foundational values of the country.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe BJP has not yet responded to her remarks.
