Gorakhpur April 27 (KNS): On the auspicious occasion of the annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Mubarak Khan (R.A.), a special event titled “An Evening Dedicated to Martyrs” was held with immense devotion, enthusiasm, and the spirit of national unity at Hazrat Mubarak Khan Dargah Sharif, Gorakhpur.
The event was graced by the presence of Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin of Ajmer Sharif Dargah and Chairman of the Chishty Foundation, who presented the sacred Ghilaf (holy covering) from Ajmer Sharif and led prayers for peace, harmony, and the prosperity of the nation.
Distinguished guests including Peethadheeshwar Shri Goswami Sushil Maharaj Ji, senior social activist Shri Lallesh Reddy Ji, and Shri Iqrar Ahmed Ji, Chairman of the Dargah Committee, extended their wholehearted participation. Thousands of devotees and pilgrims from across the country gathered to raise their voices unitedly against terrorism and to pay heartfelt homage to the Indian citizens martyred in the recent terrorist attack at Pahalgam, Kashmir. Special prayers were offered for the speedy recovery of the injured and solace for the bereaved families.
Delivering his keynote address, Haji Syed Salman Chishty stated:

We must stand united to safeguard our nation against terrorism and hatred. Addressing the gathering, Peethadheeshwar Shri Goswami Sushil Maharaj Ji said:

Sharing his reflections, Shri Lallesh Reddy Ji emphasized:

Love and unity will be our strongest response against the forces of terror and violence. The sacrifice of our martyrs teaches us that true strength lies in brotherhood and patriotism.”
Shri Iqrar Ahmed Ji, Chairman of the Dargah Committee, remarked:
“Hazrat Mubarak Khan Dargah Sharif has always been a beacon of peace and harmony. At a time when the nation needs unity the most, the prayers and resolutions emanating from this sacred place will serve as a guiding light against hatred. Every citizen must honor and embody the spirit of sacrifice demonstrated by our martyrs.”
The event concluded with an atmosphere charged with patriotism, as the entire congregation echoed resounding chants of “Jai Hind” and “Hindustan Zindabad,” celebrating the spirit of national unity and brotherhood.
