Baramulla, Nov 02(KNS): A 2-day annual literary conference of Adbi Markaz Kamraz Jammu and Kashmir kicked off here in North Kashmir Campus of Kashmir University at Delina today.
Speakers while lauding the role of AMK said that the AMK can play a vital role in evolving the society by crafting a qualitative litrature.
The conference is being organised by AMK JK in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Bank,UoK North Campus, JKAACL,Young Dramatist Society Shrinagar and Zakat Infaq and Sadaq Trust Srinagar.
The Inaugural Session was presided by Prof Shad Ramzan Convenor Sahityia Akademi New Delhi Kashmir Chapter with Shabir Ahmed Ganie Vice Chancellor Agricultural University Srinagar, MLA Wagoora Irfan Hafeez Lone, Wali Muhmmad Aseer a noted writer, Sohan Koul a famous novelist, incharge UoK North Campus Qazi and president AMK JK Muhmmad Amin Bhat in the presidium.
President AMK Muhmmad Amin Bhat in his welcome adress highlighted the challenges of the Kashmiri language in the contemporary era of machines and technology.
Bhat recollecting the contribution of Adbi Markaz Kamraz expressed hope that the Kashmir as unique identity has understood the essence of language and culture.
He expressed happiness and thanked all the guests and other stakeholders arrived as participants in the event.
General Secretary AMK JK Shabnum Teligami presented a detailed annual report of the organisation.
Sohan Lal Koul a noted Novelist presented the thematic key note adress on 'Adbi Markaz Kamraz it's contribution and challenges ahead'.
Koul during his adress lauded the contribution of AMK and shared the challenges ahead.
Referring to Korean Noble Laureate
Hang Kang 'and her the vegetarian' Koul said that Litarature has a special trait which evolves a society from chaos and confusion.
He said that it is the time to evolve the quality of literature in order to evolve the society and AMK has the role to play in such situations.
Koul mentioned that struggle of AMK in popularising the Kashmir language through 'Google campaign'.
Highlighting the essence of deep reading,Koul said that the proper and genuine Litarature can only be crafted if a writer has a deep reading of issues.

Wali Muhmmad Aseer a writer highlighted the contribution of Pir Panchal divison towards Kashmiri language and litrature.
"Pir Panchal has its special contribution towards the evolution of Kashmiri art, culture and litrature " Aseer said,adding 'governoment should concentrate on the introduction of Kashmiri language in the schools of Pir Panchal divison'.
MLA Wagoora Irfan Hafeez Lone while expressing his ideas cautioned the participants about the cultural drag in the society.
'we should collectively protect our culture and social ethos in order to evolve in a puritanic form'Lone said.
' language is our identity and we should make every effort to boost and protect this identity' He said.
Prof Nazir Ahamed Ganie Vice Chancellor Agricultural University of Science and Technology stressed on the literary enterprunership and advised AMK members to involve its art and skill to evolve the Litarature at par with the global standards.
'it is the time to revive the traditional languages like Persian, Arabic and Sanskrit with the evolution of Kashmiri to understand the traditional and folk knowledges' Nazir said ,adding 'kashmiri culture and litrature is blend of scared knowledges' and perennial litrature'
Prof Shad Ramzan in his presidential adress lais stress on the revision of traditional litrature.
He said that the pure language is behind the quality of the pure litrature.
Referring to Lal Arifa, Shiekh Ul Allam and other Sufi poetic tradition, Shad said that it is the Kashir language which gifted the unique expression to all Sufi and traditional writers in Kashmir.
He praised the the efforts of the Adbi Markaz Kamraz and its resilience it showed in presevence and projection of Kashmiri language.
The technical thematic debate session was presided by Ajeaz ul Haq a noted writer and columnist. During the session the senior and budding writers expressed their ideas and concerns and have detailed debate on various issues of the language and litrature.
The writers who participated in the debate include Sbahir Hussain Sbahir,Afaq Delnavi,Myser Nashad,Parvaiz Gulshan,Showkat Shifa,Nighat Nasreen,Dr Shahida Shabnum,Shahzad Manzoor,Reyaz Rabani, Khursheed Kamosh,Nisar Azam,Sagar Sarfraz,Hajira Bano,Dr Adil Mahiuddin, Shahnaz Rashid,Shakir Shafi,Rafiq Masoodi,Mushtaq Ahmed,Shad Ramzan and Naseem Shifaye.(KNS).
