Bandipora, July 31 (KNS): The Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Bandipora district unit, led by Provincial President Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Khan, resigned from the party on Wednesday.

District Development Council (DDC) member Ghulam Mohiuddin Rather announced his support for Dr. Mustafa Khan.

Addressing a press conference, the party's district incharge and National General secretary for AAP Jammu and Kashmir stated that the cadre has distanced themselves from the party's basic membership.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Mustafa said that he is committed to advocate for the poor and mentioned that the final decision on joining a new party would be made after consultations with the workers.

He also said that several young social activists are expected to join them in the coming days and appealed to the youth to support these emerging leaders in the upcoming elections.(KNS)
