Sopore December 02 (KNS): Focused on ensuring effective forest management, the Additional Pr. Chief Conservator of Forests (APCCF) Kashmir T. Rabi Kumar IFS today inspected the ongoing initiatives of forest department viz boundary consolidation and plantation works in Kandi Range of Kamraj Forest Division. He was accompanied by Conservator of Forests Irfan Rasool IFS, DFO Kamraj Forest Division Zahid Moghul and Range Officer Kandi Mohammad Altaf Dar.
APCCF inspected boundary consolidation works in Emberzalwari Forest in Co. 33/K of Kandi Range. He was informed that 780 BP's have been delineated on ground and approximately 121 hectares of forest land has been recovered due to carrying out of demarcation exercise.

The Additional Pr. Chief Conservator of Forests also conducted a comprehensive inspection of ongoing plantation works in co.32 undertaken in Kandi Range in CAMPA scheme. Emphasizing the importance of sustainable forestry practices and improving green cover, the APCCF assessed the progress, biodiversity impact, and quality assurance measures of the plantation. He stressed to engaging with local communities and stakeholders to strengthen collaborative conservation efforts.(KNS)
