Srinagar, jan 30 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi has strongly condemned the recommendations of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf Amendment Bill, calling them unconstitutional and an attack on the rights of Muslims.
In a statement, Aga Muntazir said that the JPC has disregarded the sentiments of millions of people and rejected proposals from the community's leadership. He argued that the amendments pose a serious threat to the autonomy of Muslim endowments by allowing government interference in their management, violating Articles 25 and 26 of the Constitution.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Aga Muntazir called for collective action to oppose the amendments, emphasizing that protecting constitutional rights and religious freedom is crucial. (KNS)
