Srinagar, Feb 24 (KNS): MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi along with office bearers Himalayan quarry association met Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu.
The meeting holds significant importance as the stone quarry business from Athwajan to Khanmoh was banned by the PDP-BJP coalition government in 2016. Since then, stakeholders in the sector have been struggling to seek official facilitation for their trade.
MLA Ahsan Pardesi played a pivotal role in arranging the meeting, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to present their concerns directly to the Deputy CM.
“This is not just about business; it is about the livelihood of hundreds of families who have been suffering due to the ban. We are committed to ensuring that their voices are heard and their rights are protected,” said Pardesi.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
