All-Party Meeting Condemns Pahalgam Killings, Vows to Uphold Kashmiriyat: Omar Abdullah

Srinagar, April 24 (KNS): Political leaders across party lines came together on Thursday to condemn the recent killings in Pahalgam, describing the act as a direct attack on the spirit of Kashmiriyat.


The All-Party Meeting, held in Srinagar, witnessed unanimous outrage against the terror incident and a collective pledge to uphold peace and communal harmony in the region.

National Conference Vice President and J&K CM Omar Abdullah, while addressing the leaders said  “Kashmiriyat, our unity and harmony, are under attack. But we stand undeterred. Today’s All-Party Meeting unanimously condemned the heinous Pahalgam killings, reaffirming that no act of terror can weaken our resolve or extinguish our spirit.”

He said the incident was an attempt to destabilize the peaceful atmosphere that people of Jammu and Kashmir have been trying to nurture.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“These cowardly acts will not succeed in dividing us. The people of Kashmir have always stood for peace, and we shall continue to do so,” he added.

Leaders from various regional and national parties including PDP, Congress, CPI(M), and others participated in the meeting, expressing solidarity with the families of the victims and calling for strict action against the perpetrators.

The meeting concluded with a joint resolution condemning the killings and urging both the administration and security agencies to ensure that peace is preserved and justice delivered without delay. (KNS)
