Srinagar, Aug 20(KNS): Following reports of substantial damage from recent back-to-back earthquakes in North Kashmir, Apni Party Chief Altaf Bukhari has urged immediate intervention.
The tremors, which hit the upper reaches of the region, have severely impacted residential houses and buildings.

"Some media reports suggest that the back-to-back earthquake shocks have caused damage to numerous residential houses and buildings in several locations in the upper reaches of North Kashmir, where the epicentre of these tremors was located. I urge the administration to deploy official teams for damage assessment and to ensure that the affected residents receive adequate compensation," he said in a post on 'X' (KNS)
