Budgam, Oct 4 (KNS) : Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian convened an important meeting to review and finalise arrangements for the upcoming Ayyam-e-Fatima (AS), which will be observed over three days.
The meeting was presided over by President Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, and was attended by senior Nauha Khwans, Markazi Zakireen and Anjuman workers.
The meeting decided that Ayyam-e-Fatima (AS) will be observed for three days with religious gatherings, Marsiya Khwani, Nauha Khwani and Azadari programmes. A special Azadari procession will be taken out in Budgam on 13 Jamadi-ul-Awwal. Detailed discussions were held on arrangements, coordination, discipline and other logistical aspects to ensure the smooth and dignified conduct of the programmes.
Addressing the gathering, Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi said that the tradition of commemorating the martyrdom and sufferings of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS) has been preserved by the followers of Ahl-e-Bayt (AS) through generations and remains a sacred legacy inherited from their forefathers. He said that Kashmir, too, has a long and deeply rooted tradition of Azadari, which must be preserved and transmitted to future generations.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He stressed that Azadari is not merely a ritual, but a means of preserving religious consciousness, devotion, loyalty and an understanding of truth, injustice and suffering.
He said it is essential to acquaint the younger generation with the life, sacrifices and teachings of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS), Imam Ali (AS) and the Imams of Ahl-e-Bayt (AS), so that they remain connected with their religious identity and historical heritage.
The Anjuman President also stressed the need to maintain discipline, sincerity and the sanctity of Azadari throughout the Ayyam-e-Fatima programmes. He said that preserving the centuries-old tradition of Azadari inherited from the forefathers of the community in Kashmir and transmitting it to coming generations is a collective religious and moral responsibility.
The meeting concluded with the finalisation of arrangements for the three-day Ayyam-e-Fatima programmes and the Azadari procession scheduled for 13 Jamadi-ul-Awwal in Budgam. Necessary responsibilities were assigned to the concerned departments and Anjuman workers to ensure the programmes are conducted in a disciplined, dignified and well-organised manner.(KNS)
