Srinagar, Sep 24 (KNS) Former Principal District and Sessions Judge and noted lawyer Mohammad Ashraf Malik met Muslim Personal Law Board Chairman Mufti Azam Nasir-ul-Islam and discussed various issues concerning the functioning and further strengthening of the Board.

During the meeting, Malik and Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam discussed measures to strengthen the Board, with special focus on its legal cell and its role in addressing issues faced by marginalised sections of society, including women who lack access to legal advice.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Malik expressed gratitude to Mufti Azam Nasir-ul-Islam and Vice Chairman Syed Mohammad Aslam Indrabi for inducting him into the Board and entrusting him with the responsibility of heading its Legal Cell in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mufti Azam Nasir-ul-Islam had recently appointed Malik as the Head of the Legal Cell of the Muslim Personal Law Board, Jammu and Kashmir.

Malik said he would work towards strengthening the Legal Cell and contributing to the effective functioning of the Board.(KNS)
