Samba October 27 (KNS): PPND Government Degree College Samba organized a vibrant Intramural celebration to commemorate UT Foundation Day showcasing the paradigm developments of Badalta Jammu Kashmir, Badhta Jammu Kashmir, Aman aur Taraqqi Ki Nayi Tasveer” in higher education learning signifying the progressing future of Jammu and Kashmir. The students displayed their skills and talent in the Stage 1 competition which included Essay Writing, Videography, Photography, and Painting to be followed by the District Kevel Stage 2 Contest. The event was organised under the aegis of IQAC. Dr Twinkle Suri, Principal of the college eulogized the creative efforts of students in displaying the changing innovative roadmap of higher education in the recent years.
The Essay Writing Competition themed on "Changing Jammu and Kashmir, Progressing Jammu and Kashmir: A New Vision for Peace and Development witnessed a massive participation of students with Seema Devi, bagging the 1st, followed by Ms. Mansi Sharma and Ms. Mansi Charak at 2nd and 3rd positions.
In the Videography Competition, the students showcased their creativity through the lens featuring the transformative journey of the UT of J and K.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelVarun Singh won the 1st prize followed by Mr. Raju Kumar and Mr. Deepak Singh clinching the 2nd and 3rd positions.
In the Photography Competition, the participating students exhibited their artistic aptitude by capturing moments that resonated with the essence of progression in Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Vineet Sharma clinched the1st position followed by Ms. Kasak Gupta and Ms. Shivani Sharma at the 2nd and 3rd positions.
Painting Contest witnessed remarkable artwork on the canvas that reflected the advancement made in the UT of J K. Saloni Sambyal won the 1st position followed by Ms. Antakbi Dubey and Mr. Tarun clinching the 2nd 3rd. All events were adjudged by the eminent faculty of the college. The 1st place winners in each category shall now represent their respective colleges at the 2nd stage Intercollegiate District Level Competition.
