Bandipora, Sept 15 (KNS) : Authorities in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district have imposed a blanket ban on transporting construction material to other districts, citing acute shortages required for local development and government projects.
An order issued by the District Mineral Officer (DMO) Bandipora (Vide No: DMO/DGM/BPR/2025-26/Ord/1510-15 dated 15-09-2025) directed all customary permit holders to stop outsider vehicles from lifting or carrying materials outside the district.
The directive, issued “in the interest of public service,” stressed that Bandipora’s own requirements must take precedence.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe DMO warned that any violation of the order would invite strict legal and administrative action.
