Bandipora, Nov 22 (KNS): The contractors association of Bandipora on Friday demanded early release of pending bills from the Treasury office, Bandipora alleged the delay in payments affects many families including labourers.
President Contractors Association Bandipora Naseer Ahmad Mir, said that the payment stocks in the district treasury office have caused significant hardships for the contractors.
He also said that the delay in payments is not only affecting their families but also the labourers working with the local contractors who are the backbone of many developmental projects.

He appealed the Deputy Commissioner Bandipora and District Treasury Officer Bandipora to look into the matter and release the pending bills on time so that they could have a sigh of relief.
However, District Treasury Officer Bandipora Sheikh Abid, said that all bills till 02 November have been cleared and the rest bills will be released after the required approval. (KNS)
