Handwara, March 20, 2025 – The Bar Association Handwara expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Special Judge UAPA, Raja Mohammad Tasleem Abass.
His demise is a great loss to the judiciary and the legal fraternity, statement issued to KNS reads.
Interim President of the Bar Association Handwara, Adv. Nazir Ahmad Lone, said, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of a remarkable judge and a wonderful human being. He was known for his fairness, wisdom, and dedication to justice. His absence will be felt not only in the courtroom but also in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him."

"Justice Raja Mohammad Tasleem Abass Sb was a man of integrity and humility. His contribution to the legal system and his warm relations with the Bar will always be remembered," said Adv. Sheikh Qasim Inayatullah.
The Bar Association Handwara extends its deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues. "May Allah grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous and give strength to his loved ones in this difficult time," said Adv. Nadeem Majid Dar.
