Srinagar Apr 18 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the esteemed Shia scholar, cleric, and religious leader, Allama Aga Syed Mohammad Baqir Al-Moosvi Sahib.

 

In their heartfelt message of condolence, they highlighted his significant contributions to religious thought and emphasized his dedication to promoting social harmony.

Meanwhile HCM Omar Abdullah attended the Namaz-e-Janaza of the deceased at the Astan-e-Aaliya Budgam. He was joined by Advisor to HCM Nasir Aslam Wani and Cabinet Minister Javed Dar. Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq also attended the Namaz E Janaza.

 

Additionally, General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Party MP Mian Altaf Ahmad, Hon'ble MLA's Ali Mohammad Dar, Dr Mohammad Shafi, Saifuddin Bhat and other party functionaries from north, south, and central zones also expressed their condolences to the Aga household, particularly Aga Syed Mahmood and Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, on the passing of Aga Syed Muhammad Bakir Moosvi Sahib.(KNS)
