Srinagar, October 25 (KNS) – Nazir Ahmad Kamrazi, BJP President of Lolab Kupwara, has called for an end to the construction of new dam in Warnaw Village.
He noted that existing dams are already experiencing water shortages, and new projects could negatively impact local forests.
Kamrazi appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene for the welfare of Warnaw Village. He also highlighted the poor condition of roads, urging the R&B Division of Kupwara to improve access to remote areas.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Additionally, he expressed concern over the lack of responsibility among permanent employees of the Forest Department, which has led to daily wage workers having to take over their duties. He requested that the Divisional Forest Officer of Kupwara take action against those not fulfilling their responsibilities.(KNS)
