Srinagar Oct 09 (KNS) : J&K Pradesh Congress Committee on Wednesday resolved to resume the chain hunger strike under the banner “Hamari Riyasat Hamra Haq” to reiterate the Party's demand for restoration of complete statehood to J&K.
In a statement issued, The hunger strike had to be put on hold due to the Natural calamity and subsequent loss to life and property in Chenab valley and elsewhere in Jammu as well as Kashmir region. The strike will start from 18th October for the remaining districts who could not observe the strike given the loss of life and property due to natural calamity.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra has urged upon the Party leaders and District Presidents to gear up for the hunger strike “under banner Hamari Riyasat Hamar Haq’ to strongly urge upon the Centre Govt to fulfill its promise with regard to restoration of Statehood to J&K.
Statehood is the Party indigenous movement, we will not rest until the Centre Govt fulfills its promise and restores the dignity and honour of J&K, Karra added.
