Jammu, January 6(KNS): The Communist Party of India (Marxist) held a protest at Harisingh Park here on Tuesday against what it described as “US aggression” against Venezuela.
Kulgam legislator Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, speaking to reporters during the protest, said, “The whole world knows that American imperialism has declared a naked democracy against a sovereign country, Venezuela. This is not an ordinary incident. In our view, this is an international incident which is rarely seen in recent history.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelA sovereign country should be arrested by the elected president of that country. This is not an isolated incident.”

The protest drew party workers and local supporters who highlighted opposition to what the CPIM termed as imperialist intervention.(KNS)
