Budgam, January 10 (KNS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo today inspected SDH Chadoora and Health & Wellness Centre Kralpora and took stock of healthcare facilities.
During visit, the DC instructed on making the lift facility and new OT section functional in the shortest possible time for its round the clock functioning.
He directed concerned to ensure both important facilities be made functional very soon.
On the occasion, the DC also stressed on proper maintenance, functioning and proper signage of recently dedicated toilet complex at the hospital.
He also instructed on construction and repairing of boundary wall, tile works and completion of sanitary works at healthcare facility.
He said other required works with respect to modern machinery and equipment of the healthcare building shall be taken up under District Capex to ensure better health facilities are dedicated to the general public within shortest possible time.
The DC said that the district administration is committed to ensure required upgradation and improvement at all health facilities for better patient care across the district.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Later, the DC also visited Health & Wellness Centre Kralpora Building, where he took stock of pending works.
During inspection, the DC reviewed the state of major and assured locals that the new Health & Welness centre shall be dedicated to the general public soon.
In order to make the new building functional, the DC stressed on speedy completion of pending works, including doors & windows fittings, electricity, sanitary works and rallying installation.
He instructed that these works be completed within this month to make the healthcare facility functional in shortest possible time.
DC said that various NTPHCs including at Gundipora, Mazhama, Kanir, Choon and Pahroo which were pending for several years were completed in last few months and dedicated to the general public.
The DC was accompanied by CPO Budgam, SDM Chadoora, concerned Tehsildars, BMOs, district health officers, EO and other concerned.(KNS)
