Ganderbal, 14 Dec (KNS): The District Employment and Counseling Center (DE&CC) Ganderbal conducted a week-long series of awareness programs to educate the public about various schemes under the Mission Youth initiative. The programs were held at multiple locations across the district, including Kullan Block Gund Ganderbal, BDO Office Kangan, Gund, Harran, Sherpathri, and Wakura. The Mumkin Scheme supports unemployed youth by facilitating self-employment through the provision of small commercial vehicles. The Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative (SEI) is designed to encourage entrepreneurship by offering financial and technical support to aspiring business owners.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The awareness programs emphasized the importance of these schemes in addressing unemployment and fostering self-reliance among the youth. DE&CC officials explained the eligibility criteria, application processes, and potential benefits of each scheme, encouraging participants to take advantage of the opportunities provided.
The programs witnessed active participation from local residents, who engaged in discussions and sought clarifications about the schemes. Officials from the DE&CC Ganderbal expressed their commitment to ensuring that information about these initiatives reaches every corner of the district, particularly in remote and underserved areas.
The DE&CC Ganderbal plans to organize similar programs in the future to extend the outreach of Mission Youth schemes and ensure maximum participation from eligible beneficiaries. (KNS)
