Srinagar February 12 (KNS): Delhi Public School Srinagar, setting yet another example and milestone in the field of education, has provided school furniture to help the upgradation of infrastructure in various government schools located in the upper region of Tral in district Pulwama. Keeping up with the motto of its school, Learn to Give, Delhi Public School Srinagar has always shown concern towards the underprivileged class of the society by assisting in terms of providing help to educate children in various remote areas of the valley.
From 27th January to 10th February 2025, Delhi Public School Srinagar delivered 710 classroom desks to multiple schools in Tral. The school, through these gestures, is trying to inculcate the values of generosity, humility, love for society, and the development of a humble personality in the students. This has been a yearly practice since the inception of the school. Speaking on this occasion, the chairman of Delhi Public School Srinagar, Mr. Vijay Dhar said, “It gives me immense happiness and contentment to see my children involved in helping others. They have grown to the expectations of the school and are exhibiting great responsible behavior towards the evolving needs of the society.” The principal, Ms. Shafaq Afshan said, “We are trying to serve the society by providing quality education to our children which is not confined to academics only. We teach to make our children responsible citizens who will be in service of the society and the world in the coming years.”
