Srinagar ,Sep 7 (KNS) : Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, visited Jinab Sahib Soura and paid obeisance at the shrine.

In a statement issued, She took stock of the ongoing construction work, including the New Grand Mosque. Along with the mosque construction, many allied works are also progressing simultaneously.

The mega project, which started a few months ago, will be completed soon. The engineering team briefed the Waqf Chairperson about the status of the construction, and she instructed them to enhance the working shifts to ensure early completion of this grand project.

Transparency and accountability within the Waqf system and the unimaginable development have rattled many. But the majority of the people are happy, so we feel energized to continue our mission,” she said.

Dr. Darakhshan assured that all ongoing works will be completed soon. She also took stock of the arrangements for devotees visiting the shrine complex during the month-long Milad celebrations.(KNS)
