Srinagar, 27 July (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah today expressed profound grief and anguish over the death of eight individuals, including a policeman and five children in a devastating road accident on the Sinthan-Kokernag route.
Dr. Farooq in his condolence message said,"I offer my heartfelt condolences to those who are mourning this profound loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families as they navigate through this unimaginable grief. May the departed souls rest in peace, and may their families find the strength and solace to endure this trying time."

I fervently pray for the success of the ongoing rescue mission, hoping that every effort will be made to bring any survivors to safety."
They further said that the accident should serve as a wake-up call for the administration to implement measures to prevent further loss of lives.
