Srinagar, 22 Aug (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah welcomed the noted youth leader from Rajouri district and former chairperson of the Block Development Council Koteranka, Budhal, Javid Iqbal Choudhary, into the party at his residence in Srinagar.
Javid is renowned for his social activism and dedication to serving as a development icon, particularly in the areas of basic education, healthcare, and road infrastructure. His commitment to improving the lives of the people was acknowledged by the party president, who expressed optimism that Javid's inclusion would bolster the party's ranks. Dr. Farooq Abdullah emphasized that Javid's experience in social activism and public service would be invaluable in expanding the party's influence in the region. In addition to Javid, the party president also welcomed Baji Mian Mohammad Aslam Sahab, a highly respected spiritual and social leader from Budhal, along with his wife, Shazia Kausar, a member of the District Development Council (DDC). Other notable figures who joined the party include Baji Abdul Wahid, Moulana Baji, and Baji Bashir.
