Budgam, Dec 24 (KNS): Residents of Narwara, Beerwah, and its neighboring villages, including Meripora, Machama, and Draggar areas of central Kashmir's Budgam district are facing a severe shortage of safe drinking water despite the construction of a water reservoir and pipeline installation in the area.
Firdous Ahmad, a local resident, expressed concerns over the unfulfilled promise of access to safe drinking water, highlighting the inefficiency and inadequacy of the water infrastructure.

Abdul Ahad, another resident, appealed to the concerned department to take immediate measures to address the situation.
He urged swift action to ensure the provision of safe and reliable drinking water, alleviating concerns about escalating health issues in the area.
