Srinagar, May 29 (KNS): In continuation of the ongoing efforts to ensure the complete installation of CCTV cameras and Computer Billing Systems, Drug Control Officers of District Kupwara, Yousuf Mohiuddin Sumji and Tehsil Sopore/Rafiabad Feroz Ahmad Bhat, under the supervision of Assistant Drugs Controller Dr. Zaffer Ahmad Bhat, conducted thorough inspections of 20 retail and wholesale establishments in the areas of Bramri, Bypass Road Kupwara, and Regipora Kupwara on May 29, 2024.

During the inspections, five notices were issued, and the operation of five firms—three retail and two wholesale—was disallowed on the spot due to various violations.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Additionally, pharmacy shops located within four renowned private hospitals of District Kupwara, namely Quality Health Care, Ess Bee Hospital, Kupwara Institute of Medical Sciences, and Sunrise Hospital, were also inspected to ensure compliance with the aforementioned instructions.

The proactive role of the drug department has been appreciated by locals for their efforts to maintain compliance and ensure the safety and integrity of pharmaceutical practices within the district.(KNS)
