Srinagar, Sep 30(KNS): The Election Commission has put on hold the Jammu and Kashmir administration's order to appoint an Army colonel as SSP (Training and Special Operations).
In its directive to the J&K chief secretary, the Commission cited a ban on the transfer of officers connected to elections due to the Model Code of Conduct in effect in the Union Territory.
Without addressing the reasons or urgency for appointing an Army officer as SSP during the enforcement of the Code, the Commission ordered that the appointment be suspended immediately.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
