Srinagar, July 13(KNS): Handwara lawmaker and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) president Sajad Lone has questioned the reported presence of police forces outside the Chief Minister's residence, calling it a serious matter warranting resignation if confirmed.
"If it is true that police was outside the gates of the CM residence for preventive purposes and even if the CM was not there — I would say the CM should resign.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelAnd we all should follow," Lone said in a public statement.
"The CM is the democratically elected leader of J&K for the term of the assembly. His surrender is a surrender of the people of J&K," he said.(KNS)
