New Delhi, June 01 (KNS): Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA alliance is projected to win a majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls that concluded on Saturday, show several exit polls.

The summary of several exit polls projected the PM Modi-led ruling NDA could win more than 350 seats in the 543-member lower house of parliament, where 272 is needed for a simple majority.

The NDA won 353 in the 2019 election.

Nearly one billion people were eligible to vote in the marathon seven-phase election that began on April 19. The votes will be counted on June 4.
