Srinagar, Feb 15 (KNS): Former Deputy Mayor of Srinagar, Sheikh Imran, has criticized the government, particularly targeting Sakina Itoo, for what he described as "inaction" in addressing a student-related crisis. Imran shared a post on social media, expressing frustration over the government's passive stance while praising the judiciary for its intervention.

In his social media post, Imran wrote "While Sakina Itoo Sahiba and the government claimed they were ‘closely watching’ the issue on Twitter for three days—only to ultimately do nothing—it was the court that stepped in decisively.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelWithout that intervention, the future of these 22 students might have been sacrificed to inaction. Our sincere gratitude goes to the judiciary thank you, courts."

He further took a jibe at Itoo’s approach, saying "Meanwhile—Sakina ji is still in high alert and full surveillance mode—first she watched closely, now she’s watching the exams and soon, she’ll be watching the results. At this rate, she might even start watching the ink dry on the answer sheets. Truly, her dedication to the fine art of closely watching and doing absolutely nothing is commendable. Bravo." (KNS)
